The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 42(1) and 44(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017[^f00001], makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (The London Interdisciplinary School Ltd) (Amendment) Order 2022 and shall come into force on 26th September 2022.

Variation of Power to Award Degrees etc. (The London Interdisciplinary School Ltd) Order 2020

(2) The London Interdisciplinary School Ltd shall be competent to grant the following specified taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(b) of the said Act: (a) MASc in Interdisciplinary Practice; (b) PGDip in Interdisciplinary Practice; (c) PGCert in Interdisciplinary Practice; (d) BASc (Hons) in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods; (e) BASc in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods; (f) DipHE in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods; and (g) CertHE in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods.

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order, made under sections 42(1) and 44(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017, provides for a variation of the Power to Award Degrees etc. (The London Interdisciplinary School Ltd) Order 2020, so that The London Interdisciplinary School Ltd is authorised to award the specified taught awards mentioned in article 2 of this Order for a fixed term expiring on 31st December 2024. This Order will come into force on 26th September 2022.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
