The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Telecommunications Security Act 2021[^f00001], makes the following Regulations.

The following provisions of the Act, so far as not already in force by virtue of section 28(1) of the Act, come into force on 1 October 2022–

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations bring into force those provisions of the Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021 (c. 31) which are not already in force. Certain provisions were brought into force on Royal Assent by virtue of section 28(1) of the Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021.
