The Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2023

NHS England makes this Order on the application of the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust following the consultation required under paragraph 28(3) of Schedule 4 to that Act[^f00002].
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2023 and comes into force on 1st July 2023.
Dissolution

The Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust is dissolved.
Revocation
3
The Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1999[^f00003] is revoked.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
Article 2 of this Order provides for the dissolution on 1 July 2023 of the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (“the Southport and Ormskirk Trust”) which was established on 1 April 1999.
Article 3 revokes the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1999 ([S.I. 1999/980](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1999/980)), which established the Southport and Ormskirk Trust.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the public, private or voluntary sector is foreseen.
