The Power to Award Degrees etc. (Lamda Limited) (Amendment) Order 2024

The Office for Students has complied with the procedure on giving notifications in accordance with section 48 of that Act.
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Lamda Limited) (Amendment) Order 2024 and shall come into force on 1st November 2024.
Variation of the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Lamda Limited) Order 2021

- (1) The Power to Award Degrees etc. (Lamda Limited) Order 2021[^f00002] is varied in accordance with paragraph (2).
- (2) For article 2, substitute—
(2) Lamda Limited (registered company number 00364456) is authorised to grant taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(a) of the said Act for a fixed-term beginning on 1st August 2021 and expiring on 31st October 2026.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order varies the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Lamda Limited) Order 2021 to extend Lamda Limited’s authorisation to award degrees. The expiry of Lamda Limited’s authorisation is changed from 31st October 2024 to 31st October 2026.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
