The Lord Chancellor makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(3), 41(1)(a) and (b), 41(2)(a) and (b) and 41(3)(b) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012[^f00001].

Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Legal Aid (Remuneration) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into force on 6th December 2024.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Amendments to the Criminal Legal Aid (Remuneration) Regulations 2013

(1) Schedule 4 to the Criminal Legal Aid (Remuneration) Regulations 2013[^f00002] is amended as follows.

(2) For the table following paragraph 2(8) (work conducted at the Police station: Police Station advice and assistance), substitute—
