The Power to Award Degrees etc. (Warwickshire College) Order of Council 2014 (Amendment) Order 2024

The Office for Students has complied with the procedure on giving notifications in accordance with section 48 of that Act.
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Warwickshire College) Order of Council 2014 (Amendment) Order 2024 and shall come into force on 1st January 2025.
Variation of Power to Award Degrees etc. (Warwickshire College) Order of Council 2014

- (1) The Power to Award Degrees etc. (Warwickshire College) Order of Council 2014 is varied in accordance with paragraph (2).
- (2) After article 3, insert the following entry—
(4) Warwickshire College shall not authorise other institutions to grant such awards as specified in article 2 of this Order on its behalf. (5) Warwickshire College shall only grant the awards specified in article 2 to persons enrolled with it at the time they complete the course of study for which the award is granted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order varies the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Warwickshire College) Order of Council 2014, as amended by the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Warwickshire College) Order of Council 2014 (Amendment) Order 2021, so that Warwickshire College may not authorise other institutions to grant foundation degree awards on its behalf and so that Warwickshire College may not grant foundation degree awards to persons who are not enrolled at the institution at the time they complete the course of study for which the award is granted. This Order will come into force on 1st January 2025.
