Coming into force: 18th January 2024

The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 5 of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to, the 1992 Act, makes the following Order:—

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Northampton and Lamport Light Railway (Amendment) Order 2024 and comes into force on 18th January 2024.

Amendment of the Northampton and Lamport Light Railway Order 1995

(1A) The Company is to operate, at the point where public right of way CC4 crosses the railway, a new level crossing suitable for a footpath.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Northampton and Lamport Light Railway Order 1995 (S.I. 1995/1300) to authorise an extension of the railways operated by Northampton Steam Railway Limited, and for related purposes.
