In accordance with section 36(3) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004, these Regulations are made with the approval of the Secretary of State.
Citation, commencement and extent

- (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Partnership Records (Revocation) Regulations 2024 and come into force on 28th May 2024.
- (2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

The Civil Partnership Records Regulations 2016[^f00002] are revoked.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations revoke the Civil Partnership Records Regulations 2016 which provide that information contained in an entry in the Registrar General’s register of civil partnerships may be provided, upon request, in portable document format.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.
