The Shropshire (Electoral Changes) (Amendment) Order 2025

Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)
The Local Government Boundary Commission for England makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(3) of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007[^f00001].
Citation, commencement and extent

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Shropshire (Electoral Changes) (Amendment) Order 2025.
- (2) This Order comes into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made.
- (3) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Explanatory Note
This Order amends article 2(1) of the Shropshire (Electoral Changes) Order 2025 to give full effect to the proposals made by Shropshire Council to the Local Government Boundary Commission for England for a related alteration to county electoral division boundaries. The alteration is related to parish boundary changes made by the Shropshire (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2025.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
