The National Assembly for Wales makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 108(3)(c), (7), (8), (9), (10) and (11) and 210(7) of the Education Act 2002 .

The Education (National Curriculum) (Key Stage 3 Assessment Arrangements) (Wales) Order 1997 , the Education (National Curriculum) (Key Stage 3 Assessment Arrangements) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 1998 and the Education (National Curriculum) (Key Stage 3 Assessment Arrangements) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2001 are revoked.

Pupils not subject to provisions of the National Curriculum

Evaluation of Assessment Arrangements

The Authority must make such arrangements as seem to them appropriate for determining the extent to which the provisions of articles 4 to 7 and their implementation achieve the purpose mentioned in article 1(2).

Supplementary powers of the National Assembly

The National Assembly may make such provisions giving full effect to or otherwise supplementing the provisions made by this Order (other than provisions conferring or imposing functions as mentioned in section 108(7) of the Act) as appear to it to be expedient.
