The National Assembly for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by sections 1, 2, 7(1), 8(1), 13, 15(3), 15(4), 17(1), 23, 25, 26(1), 26(2), 28, 34(7), 38(1), 65A(3), 83(2), 87(2) and 87(5) of the Animal Health Act 1981 makes the following Order:

PART 1 — Introduction

Title, application and commencement

For the purposes of the Act in its application to the disease and to this Order—

The National Assembly must take such steps as it considers necessary to ensure that licences, declarations and notices are brought to the attention of those who may be affected by them as soon as is reasonably practicable and in particular it must ensure that the extent of any zone declared under this Order, the nature of the restrictions and requirements applicable within it and the dates of its declaration and withdrawal are publicised.

Disinfection under this Order must be carried out with a disinfectant which is—
