The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the National Assembly for Wales by section 181 of the Education Act 2002[^f00001] and now exercisable by them[^f00002], make the following Regulations:
Title, commencement and application

- (1) The title of these Regulations is the Education Maintenance Allowances (Wales) (Revocation) Regulations 2009.
- (2) These Regulations come into force on 24 April 2009 and apply in relation to Wales.
Revocation

The Education Maintenance Allowances (Wales) Regulations 2007[^f00003] are revoked.

Explanatory note

These Regulations revoke the Education Maintenance Allowances (Wales) Regulations 2007.
