The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 8(1) of the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2009[^f00001], and having consulted those persons they are required to consult by section 8(3) of that Act, make the following Order:

Title and commencement

(1) The title of this Order is the Local Government (Performance Indicators) (Wales) (Revocation) Order 2016.

(2) This Order comes into force on 24 November 2016.

Revocation

The Local Government (Performance Indicators) (Wales) Order 2012[^f00002] is revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order revokes the Local Government (Performance Indicators) (Wales) Order 2012 (S.I. 2012/2539 (W. 278)) which specifies, for Wales, performance indicators by reference to which the performance of county councils and county borough councils, in exercising functions, are measured.

The Welsh Ministers’ Code of Practice on the carrying out of Regulatory Impact Assessments was considered in relation to this Order. As a result, it was not considered necessary to carry out a regulatory impact assessment as to the likely costs and benefits of complying with this Order.
