Coming into force: 6 December 2018

A draft of this instrument was laid before and approved by a resolution of the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with section 48(3) of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 .

Before the draft was laid the Welsh Ministers obtained and took into account the advice of the Committee on Climate Change, in accordance with section 49(1) of the Act.

The Welsh Ministers, in accordance with section 32(1)(b) of the Act, are satisfied that the carbon budgets set out herein are consistent with meeting the 2050 emissions target.

In drafting these Regulations, in accordance with section 32(3), the Welsh Ministers have had regard to the matters listed at section 32(3) of the Act.

Accordingly, the Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by 31(1) of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016, make the following Regulations.
