The Welsh Ministers make these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(2)(b) of the Fire Safety Act 2021[^f00001].

Provision coming into force on 1 October 2021

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 1 of the Fire Safety Act 2021 is 1 October 2021.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations bring into force section 1 of the Fire Safety Act 2021 (“the Act”) in relation to premises in Wales.
Section 1 of the Act makes amendments to article 6 (application to premises) of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (S.I. 2005/1541). Section 4 of the Act contains the commencement provisions.
