The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 15, 80, 104 and 203(9) and (10) of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006[^f00001], make the following Regulations.

Title and coming into force

The title of these Regulations is the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) (Wales) (Amendment) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and they come into force on 31 December 2024.

Amendment to the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2024

In the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2024[^f00002], for regulation 1(3) substitute—

(3) This regulation and regulation 3(5) come into force on 1 January 2025.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations substitute a new regulation 1(3) into the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.

The Welsh Ministers’ Code of Practice on the carrying out of Regulatory Impact Assessments was considered in relation to these Regulations. As a result, a regulatory impact assessment has not been prepared as to the likely costs and benefits of complying with these Regulations.
