For the purposes of the Annex, the following abbreviations shall apply:
- (a) ‘CA’ means a competent authority;
- (b) ‘PWAS’ means a person who arranges the shipment;
- (c) ‘PIC’ means the procedure of prior written notification, as referred to in Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1157;
- (d) ‘Annex VII’ means Annex VII to the Regulation (EU) 2024/1157, that is used for shipments of waste subject to the general information requirements referred to in Article 18 of that Regulation;
- (e) ‘Facility’ means a facility receiving waste or a consignee.
