##### **Artículo 516**. Presentación del Recurso de Reconsideración.

El signatario que esté en lugar distinto podrá presentarlo ante Juez o Notario, quien dejará constancia de su presentación personal.
En todo caso, el Recurso de Reconsideración deberá entregarse en la dependencia competente dentro del término previsto en el artículo 515º de este Decreto para su interposición.
##### **Artículo 516.** *Presentación del Recurso de Reconsideración.* El recurso se puede presentar directamente por la persona contra la cual se expidió el acto administrativo que se impugna, o a través de apoderado especial.
La presentación personal del recurso dentro del término previsto en el artículo 515 del presente decreto se podrá efectuar ante la autoridad aduanera a quien se dirige o ante juez o notario, con exhibición del documento de identidad del signatario y si es apoderado especial, de la correspondiente tarjeta profesional de abogado, dejando constancia en todos los casos de la presentación personal del escrito.
Cuando la presentación personal se efectúe ante juez o notario, el recurso de reconsideración deberá allegarse a la autoridad aduanera o remitirse a la misma a través de la red oficial de correos o de cualquier servicio de mensajería especializada autorizado, dentro del término previsto en el artículo 515 del presente decreto.
En el evento señalado en el inciso anterior, dentro de los cinco (5) días siguientes al recibo del recurso la autoridad aduanera deberá remitirlo a la dependencia competente para fallarlo. En todo caso, los términos para decidir el recurso por parte de la dependencia competente comenzarán a correr a partir del día siguiente a la fecha de su recibo”.
